Social Media Strategy...How to set a solid one?

If you are about to get involved with Social Media World, so you are starting with this very critic step, otherwise you are going wrong!

Social Media Strategy is important for many reasons :

* With it you can measure your success.

* With it you will learn how to post regularly to your Social Media Channels.

* With it you will learn how to produce various types of content.

* With it you will know that your best Strategy is to change strategies regularly!

In this post we will clarify the main points with which you can set properly your Social Media Strategy!

1 - What's a Social Media Strategy?

- It's all what you are planning to do and to achieve for your business using Social Media Channels!

2 - What are the main features should my goals have?

- Specific (To avoid goal confusion).

- Measurable (To know if your on the right track or not).

- Relevant (To know if you are serving well your business or not).

- With Time Limit (To be able to measure either your success or your failure).

3 - Where is your audience?

- Track your audience and discover their preferred Social Media Channels; Facebook? Twitter? Youtube? Or they are using a very specific local channels...Go after them!

4 - Create and improve your Social Media accounts!

- If you don't have yet accounts on the channels preferred by your audience, you have to start creating them! And if you have already accounts there, it's time to refine them updating your posts to make them more relevant to your audience.

5 - What's a Content Plan?

It's a plan in which you should make clear 3 main points :

- Type of content (Images, Videos, Text or Articles).

- Frequency of publishing (When to publish your posts; days/hours).

- Who can create this piece of content? (If you have a skilled team member in photos, you should assign him to just post photos).

6 - Test, evaluate and adjust your plan!

- You should run a regulare test to find out the adjustments your plan needs. The most thing you should know about your plan is that it has to be constantly changing!
