Why shall we use Youtube for E-Business?

Generally, YouTube is a perfect platform for engaging with variety of audiences by creating and promoting rich video content. YouTube is being successfully leveraged by businesses in numerous industries, to mention just a few:

· Retailers,
· Food distributors and wholesalers,
· Travel industry companies, such as tour operators and hotels.

Specifically for e-business, YouTube is a useful tool to help the customers along thecustomer journey by providing them timely content-rich answers to the questions and concerns they might have.
Such approach allows e-businesses to save resources & to automate business processes.

What's the difference between Viral and How-To's videos?

First of all, such videos refer to different needs of the audience.
A viral video usually leverages the audiences’ interests for entertainment, for having things to talk about with peers, for fostering a sense of identity by belonging to a certain movement or addressing a certain opinion.

A ‘How-to’ video usually addresses utilitarian experience when the audience learns something useful, something that helps to act in a more effective manner. Or such video helps the audience to become better in doing something or knowing something, and consequently reach a higher self-esteem.

Which is better?

As you see, the two types of these videos solve completely different tasks for the audiences. So there is no white/black answer here. It all depends on your goals.
I would say that ‘how-to’ videos are more manageable in terms of production & promotion. It is almost impossible to guarantee virality. But there are tested best practices for producing excellent and high performing ‘how-to’ content.

How can I make my video findable?

Video optimization includes preparing a compelling headline, tagging it, adding description with the use of keywords.

Should I use annotations on my videos? Why?

Annotations are a great tool to keep providing interesting, timely and engaging video content to users. The annotations at the end of the video are the ones that enjoy the highest click-through rate because they do not disrupt the experience of watching the ongoing video.
The rule of thumb is: add annotations as long as they add value, don’t add them for the sake of having them, it will annoy your audience.
Technically, annotations should be placed in the upper part of the video so advertisements don’t overlap them.

Is it important to create a Network between YouTube and other social channels? Why?

Social media channels integration is vital for overall performance. Since the social ecosystem is extremely fragmented, we need to allow audiences to have flawless experience. YouTube videos can greatly leverage blog posts, websites and applications. Integration with Google + assists search engine optimization.

How shall YouTube Insights help me to go on the right track?

You can manage only what you can measure. YouTube analytics gives all the details one might need for tracking content performance and improving content creation process. Data in multiple dimensions, such as viewers demographics, traffic sources, devices, audience retention is available across flexible time spans.

YouTube has many benefits to offer to digital marketers, especially in terms of organic growth and high search traffic.
